Merry Christmas :)!

Hey Bloggers,
Sorry I haven't been posting lately. I've been pretty busy with school and I was very sick last week also. Christmas shopping has taken over my first couple days of christmas break, which kind of sucks but christmas is coming very soon!

Is everyone ready for christmas yet? Because I sure am.. NOT! I still haven't gotten my dad a christmas present yet! :( It's so hard to decide for my dad. This year I'm his secret santa too! I think I'm going to stick with a gift card to home depot. That should be the best idea, because there he can get whatever he wants. He's a tool finatic when it comes to that stuff.

But I hope everyone has a very merry christmas and I hope you get everything you asked for! Have a great christmas everyone.

With christmas wishes,
Bowling Girl

Skyline movie review

Skyline... WAS A HORRIBLE MOVIE!
Not only did my friend WASTE gas to go see this movie, but we actually sat through the whole thing and paid for it.

The story line was good but the ending of a movie makes the movie for me and the ending was HORRIBLE! Just what happens to the two main actors in the end of the movie is really stupid. The two main actors, Eric Balfour (Jarrod) and Scottie Thompson (Elaine), are great actors but the one thing i despised is their chemistry. Their chemistry was not shown as a couple; it seemed that they HATED each other.

The Catcher In The Rye, Chapter #3, Question #12

In my expirience, I find that most people lie to adults just to make them happy and proud about them. People always tell other what they want to hear because it makes them feel accomplished sometimes. People tend to behave this way for multiple reasons; to please the other person, not to dissappoint the other person, too afraid for them to hear the truth, dissapointed in themselves so they feel the need to lie to make themselves feel better. Everyone has different reasons for it but most of them is because they want to tell the people what they want to hear. Which sometimes happens in relationships that are starting to fall apart.

Dear Ryan.

Hey Ryan,
I hope you're feeling a bit better knowing that you'll be getting what you need. We're all here wishing you could be in class. I know how hard it must be for you to go through all of that. I know you'll be loving the magazines we're sending you ;D! Everyone is hoping and praying you get better soon. We miss you and hope your surgery goes well. We all know you'll get through it and be back at school in no time. I hope that you get the strength to check what everyone is writing to you. Keep your head up, you'll be better in no time :)|

The Catcher In The Rye, Chapter #2, Question #7

I feel that I can be mature when I really need to. But I can be immature also when I'm with friend because all we do is play around and act stupid. When it comes too maturity, I am always mature when I'm talking about something I love or something I believe in. Being immature is a part of growing up; you need to be a big kid at heart some times. If you have kids, you have to have fun with them. Because if you don't, they won't experience what a childhood is without fun.

Oh Procrastination, how I hate you.

Good Evening Bloggers,
So I've been putting off a homework that was due today and my teacher changed it to tomorrow because we weren't done, but I am just not in the mood to do it. It is for my Marketing class and it's super hard. I hardly get the homework anyways!

I absolutely love this picture. (To the right) It's exactly what I think about it. But I really have to do this homework. So tata for now bloggers.

Bowling Tip Thursday #3 and #4! (I know I'm a day off! Sorry.)

Hey bloggers,

I know it's really friday but shhh! I was busy last night studying for a marketing test, so I decided to tell you today anyways.

On October 23rd, I bowled against a pro bowler named Johnny Petraglia. He is known all around the world and I know a lot of people who came from BC and Buffalo to see him bowl. Suprising thing is, he was bowling against me! It was to celebrate that we had the new Brunswick Pro Lanes done at our bowling alley.

So here's tip #3 Hit the head pin! and #4 Making spares!
The most important thing for beginning bowlers to learn, is to keep the ball on the lane. To help you guys, Brunswick added 14 unique board lines, exclusive down-lane marks (the brown lines in the top of the picture). To get the 7 and 10 pin spare, you have to aim right between the two dark lines. Right side for 10 pin and left side for 7 pin. This really helped me and it can also help you. But ALWAYS remember to make a spare on the right, move to the left of the head pin and to make a spare on the left, move to the right of the head pin.

That's all for now bloggers,
Have a great weekend.

SO sorry! :(

Hey blogger world,
I'm so sorry I haven't been on lately! I've been deprived of internet and working a lot.

As you know Halloween is over and Christmas is just around the corner. Anyone have any idea what they want for christmas? I have NO idea yet. I should probably get onto that. All I know is that I am super happy I finally got my bowling ball after waiting for it. It was on back order for awhile :( but it's finally in my hands! :D

Christmas... What else is there to say? It can be the best day of your life, or the worst because you didn't get what you wanted. I'm still debating on what to ask for because there isn't really anything I would like other to spend the day with the family. Everyone always asked for the most expensive things, but being with family is PRICELESS. My dad is just simply hating my life right now because I got my nosed pierced so I'm not sure if I'll get anything for christmas, haha! Well I have so much to talk about, but that just gives me a reason to update my blog every day. Maybe even twice a day!

I know for sure that Thursday, since I haven't been able to update Bowling Tip Thursday... I will give 2 maybe 3 tips this upcoming Thursday.

Goodbye for now Bloggers.

Dear Marketing Class

Dear Marketing class,

Why are you so complicated? You stress me out :(
Blogger world, keep this in notes.. Don't study for a test until 2am because your brain will not retain anything when you wake up. It's never a good idea to stay up to study and I unfortunately had to learn that the hard way. I am saving you the trouble of finding it out the hard way and making you forget everything you studied the night before, in the morning. If you want to study and remember everything, put a note and make sure you study a couple days before the test and if you have an i-pod or mp3 player that records, record yoursef reading the notes and listen to it when you sleep. It really helps during exams when you're stressing out and you're too lazy to keep reading your notes.

Good afternoon blogger world.

Bowling Tip Thursday #2! :)

Hey bloggers,
Today's bowling tip will be focusing. When you are bowling and you throw a bad ball, get that out of your head. Make sure you just focus on the next shot and block out everyone and everything else going on around you. Focusing will help you keep your eye on the target and not let anyone distract you. I wish I could say more about this, but focusing is focusing.

Remember bloggers,
if you have any questions about bowling you can ask in a comment and I'll be glad to answer or even use it as my Bowling Tip Thursday.

Amazing bracelet my dad bought me

Hey blogger world,
OH MY GOSH! Okay, this bracelet my dad bought me is just simply amazing. It's called Power-Balance by Performance Technology. It helps with my balance SO much!

What it is, is that there's a hologram piece in the bracelet and it controls the natural energy field of your body. When my dad showed me this, I was like "Yeah okay, sure it does.". But then he did the test. You put your arms to your side with your hands pointing to your back and get someone to push down on your hands. Like any other human, you feel the weight and start going with it. Then I put the bracelet and he did it again... I DID NOT MOVE AN INCH. I don't get how it does it, but it does. I definitely recommend this bracelet for anyone who has balance problems and also to athletics. You can find it at Golf Town and it is 40$. It's definitely worth the 40$.

Easy A Movie Review

Good afternoon blogger world,
I'm here with the movie review of Easy A.

This movie was amazing; it was funny, sad and romantic all in one. I definitely recommend seeing it. The movie is about a student named Olive (Emma Stone) who ruins her school reputation in the matter of weeks. She was always miss goody two shoes with crazy parents and an adopted brother. Best friends Rhi (Aly Michalka) and Olive end up having an argument that makes her life even worse at school. After all this happens she decides to fix her reputation and asks everyone to tell the truth about what happened. Olive is just stuck in a big pickle and has to find her way out of a big huge lie.

Easy A gave me a life lesson, once you start lying... You can never stop. So bloggers, watch what you say and make sure you make the right decision with your choices. Lies can ruin a reputation, a friendship and even a family.

Bowling Tip Thursday #1 :)

Hey blogger world,
It's Thursday and it's my first BOWLING TIP THURSDAY! :)
If you guys have any questions that you would like me to answer on bowling tip Thursday ask ahead and they will be answered every Thursday.

This week I’ll be talking about your bowling swing. When you bowl, you swing your ball back and then forward to let it go. The biggest thing that can help is lock your arm when you swing forwards and always aim where you want the ball to go. Also, when you let go of the ball, follow through with your swing. Meaning after you let go of the ball keep swinging until your hand is over your head. (As shown in the picture above)

That's all for tip Thursday.
Have a good night blogger world.

My exciting friday!

This upcoming Friday, I am getting my pay check and I am buying my new bowling ball I’ve been waiting all summer for. It is called the Black Widow Sting and it is an amazing bowling ball with great performance. Bowling balls all have different reactions and this one has the perfect reaction for me. Other than plastic based bowling balls, all bowling balls hook meaning they start turning towards the opposite side of your arm you are throwing with. So if you bowl with your right hand, the ball will hook to the left and if you bowl with your right hand, the ball will hook to the right.

It’s been awhile that I need a new bowling ball and I’m finally getting it. Bowling balls are not cheap, the average price is around 150$ for a new one. But this bowling ball is more expensive than that unfortunately. But I am super excited to finally get it because they are discontinued and I’m the one who is getting the last one at the pro shop in the bowling alley I go to. In other words, I cannot wait until Friday. J!

Advice on growing up my dear Sara

Sara, my dear, you are growing up and everything will be changing soon enough. You’re life will soon be changing, you will be going to school in 2 years and it is something to be excited about. When you get in school, make sure you try your best and make it everything you want it to be. If you try, you will succeed. School will be scary at first and it will be intimidating, but if you think the opposite it won’t be. For right now, since you’re just becoming a kid, my advice for you would be to learn your manners and use them wisely and ALWAYS give your parents the puppy eyes when you want something ;D. Trust me it ALWAYS works for me.

My first post :)

Today is my first blog and my first time on blogspot. My blog will mostly be about bowling and sometimes my day at school. Thursdays will be my bowling tip Thursday. I am looking forward to sharing my knowledge with others and talking about something I absolutely love.

I have been bowling since I was two years old and I’ve never stopped bowling since. You might not believe it but that’s for my knowing. Bowling has always been a big part of my life and everyone in my family has always bowled also. Bowling isn’t just something I do for fun, it keeps me active and it keeps me healthy. Bowling is all about balance and strength which people do not notice until they actually bowl. People think it’s stupid and some make fun of it. When it’s something that I make my life, honestly don’t mess with me about it. If you have any questions, ask away J.
